A recent press release stated that Health & Leisure, Inc. (HLLS) is looking to acquire Big Pros. HLLS has been stagnant for sometime however, this purchase could make the stock rocket. Big Pros designs websites for professional athletes like Warren Sapp, Darrell Armstrong, Dwight Gooden, etc. Check this site out http://www.bigpros.com (I found the press release at Edgar along w/ their 8-K.) I'm thinking about investing in HLLS and just wanted some feedback also.

The sheriffs have arrived in one of the Wild Wests of the stock market. For years, the small-stock arena known as the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board has operated with relatively lax requirements and scant public scrutiny. That's about to change. (source: MSNBC) http://msnbc.com/news/424044.asp

I was sick of my online account so I changed to Etrade, so far so good, but I found this site to do the research on who was best and they have about 20 deals where they give you cash upto $250 when you sign up by linking from there site. So I signed up for Etrade and they put $150 bucks in my account, yehaw! Then I went over to their bank deals and opened an account at USA Bancshares and they gave me $100. Hope this helps you guys too. Here's the etrade link. http://www.gomez.com/deals/profile.cfm?redir=yes&goto=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Egomez%2Ecom%2Fdeals%2Fprofile%2Ecfm&gmzpromo=9&aamsz=468X60&ref_vendor_id=4131&topcat_id=3&r=4&product_id=5 0000194 and here's the bank http://www.gomez.com/deals/profile.cfm?redir=yes&goto=http%3A%2F%2Fwww%2Egomez%2Ecom%2Fdeals%2Fprofile%2Ecfm&gmzpromo=8&aamsz=468X60&ref_vendor_id=4131&topcat_id=1&r=4&product_id=5 0000213 if you don't like etrade they have a deal with almost every online firm. Secure with big gains made in technology stocks during the past year's bull market, many investors are turning towards over-the-counter bulletin board stocks for new potential gains, and the volume over the past few weeks clearly reflects it. But investors should be aware of the risks.

Here's a good one from James Cramer: "I usually cringe when I go to public places these days. It's not because people ask me about stocks -- frankly, I love that -- but because people ask me about penny stocks. If you want to trade penny stocks, why don't you set up an account with Tony Soprano's brokerage? Then, at least, you can get in a little early."

jamievent,
a word of advice if you only have a little money. Unless you are ready to lose all of that little money you have to invest, don't invest in penny stocks. If you don't mind the risk and can lose the money then more power to you.
