Fonar Corp, (FONR) Breaking RIGHT NOW & HOT MONDAY MORNING. I am of the opinion that if FONR Breaks Resistance of $2.00, Then this stock could REALLY FLY. This is why I personally bought more shares from $.72 to $.87. You may view Fonar's Web Site at http://www.fonar.com. Recent Announcements Propell FONR stock to close 11/19/99 at $1.22 with After Note: I can't WAIT to see what perhaps will be released between now and the Regards, |

I agree. Goto's business model rests on the belief that whoever is willing to pay the most for a given word is going to be the company/site that people are most interested in finding, but this obviously isn't true. |

I read the Goto.com article. Thanks for posting it! For advertisers I would definitely say its a good idea, but for the users? >GoTo CEO, Jeffrey Brewer called their >business "a true business model innovation." >Take a look at GoTo.com next time you are >searching for something on the Web. It >truly is an innovative business model. If i'm a user why would I want to look at who was willing to pay the most to get me? I'd rather go to one of sites where people rate various services or just use a search engine. Other than that I can see the system being abused. Goto.com or competitors of their clients could click through and inflate the numbers. I'd be suprised if it isn't happening already. That kind of inflation would only really work in the short term, but it could gain goto a lot of revenue and could hurt the people that advertise through them. |

We received an e-mail about Qualcomm (QCOM) and would like to post it here: "I have enjoyed your Top 50 Stocks for a while now, keep up the great work. I'm just curious though ... why isn't QCOM listed? Surely you own QCOM, and I can't imagine that it wouldn't be in your Top 50. What's up? You don't own it?!" And here is our answer: Believe it or not, we do not own Qualcomm. We have a screen for our stocks of revenue growth of at least 30% per year. Checking Qualcomm's latest quarterly results, their revenue growth was only 14%. It's good to have humility when investing, and realize you're not going to win them all. We don't want to be too jealous and unhappy. Many of our tech stocks have done quite well as you can see from our stock listings. It would be like the guy who wins the lottery, but he is sad all the time because he has to pay high taxes. You can be quite successful without owning every winner. Qualcomm may be overpriced (Is this what everyone says who has missed the incredible run?) Investor's Business Daily says: "Qualcomm, which has bolted as much as 76% in two weeks, looked like it might be blowing off." Here is internet analyst Steve Harmon's view on Qualcomm: Money Talk: "What's your long-term opinion of QUALCOMM? Is it worth $300.00 a share?" Any other opinions on Qualcomm (QCOM)? Anyone else think it might be overpriced?

Fund manager Peter Doyle thinks biotech is "going to make the Internet pale in comparison." A pretty bold prediction, but he may be right. We think the Internet and biotech are both going to be huge! That's why we invest in both, and our stock listings include both. See article at: http://www.businessweek.com/cgi-bin/investor/inv_frame.pl?&url=/bwdaily/dnflash/oct1999/nf91015c.htm |
