The company makes specialized mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) called silicon timing devices. These devices emit signals to help electronic systems work in synchronization. The company's products are found primarily on PC motherboards as well as in digital cameras, communications devices, set-top boxes, and DVD players. Customers include Compaq, Dell, IBM, Lucent, and Nortel Networks. The company plans to go public soon and hopes to raise $500 million (source: SEC filing).
