OpenSite Technologies sells software which enables web sites to operate interactive online auctions. OpenSite's products offer bid tracking and monitoring as well as new item notification, and the company also offers Web auction development and hosting services. Customers include CNET (which owns 5% of the company), Sharper Image, and VerticalNet. The company recently filed to go public but a date hasn't been set yet. (source: SEC filing) |
