What the heck is going on with Abercrombie and Fitch? A month ago there was a class action lawsuit being filed alleging that the company tipped off analyst Todd Slater of Lazard Feres that it was having slow third quarter growth. The lawsuit alleges that Mr. Slater then told his clients who traded on this inside information. The company recently reported their numbers for the third quarter. Net sales rose 25 percent to $287 million. Comparable store sales grew 11 percent. Earnings beat first call estimates of 31 cents a share with 36 cents a share...
I don't know, is that what you call a slow third quarter?
The stock still hasn't rebounded much from the drop it took when news of the lawsuit came out.
