The company offers speech-recognition software for managing phone communications, retrieving information, and processing transactions. Its tools let users build speech-related applications, while SpeechSite uses spoken commands to automate phone interaction with callers by directing calls and providing information. SpeechWorks also offers support services (42% of sales); resells third-party voice-processing equipment; and provides software hosting.
