Go to http://moneycentral.msn.com/investor/research/welcome.asp This site has free downloadable software that will let you search stocks by custom criteria. Go to the link, on the left side you'll see a link list. Down towards the bottom you'll see "Find Stocks" and Stock Screener. You'll have to register, but it will let you search by yield percentages, dividend rates and so forth. I used a 1 criteria search to find corporations that likely have preferred stock: all companies with a 7% yield percentage. I looked at each company's annual trend chart (you'll want to download the advanced chart software too) of that company's ticker and checked to see the balanced of each dividend paid. If they are all the same amount, it's likely that they offer preferred stock. That's as far as I can take you. You'll have to do the rest. |

Would someone be so kind as to tell me where I might find a list of Preferred Stocks... perhaps a "screen" that would search for "preferreds" yielding say 7-10 % ? Many Thanks.....Richard Wade |
