Deja.com (formerly Deja News) provides access to thousands of online discussion forums, including Usenet news groups. Its Deja Ratings service allows users to post opinions on 7,000 consumer products and services. The company generates revenues from advertising. Shareholders include Internet Capital Group (34%), Austin Ventures (21%), Ziff-Davis (8%), and Prime New Ventures (7%). The company has filed to go public but a date hasn't been set yet.
