Subject: Digital Entertainment Network (DEN) Trademark Infringement

The Hollywood company that has been calling itself the Digital Entertainment Network and who was responsible
for the now defunct DEN website had been infringing on the trademark of another company. According to Ralph Press,
President of Digital Masters USA the phrase ‘The Digital Entertainment Network’ is the registered trademark of his company and DEN was attempting to usurp it’s use. The companies had been in talks regarding DEN’s use of the mark but DEN’s subsequent demise alleviates the problem
for Digital Masters. The genuine Digital Entertainment Network has been in continuous operation on the Internet since March, 1996 at www.tden.com. Mr. Press also stated
that the ultimate goal of The Digital Entertainment Network is to provide educational and entertainment programming
for people of all ages. The company is presently marketing a music CD called the Great American Ragtime Revival. Other products and services that will be available in the near future are a new type of outer space game called Nforce and The Electronic Conservatory, an automated system for teaching people how to play virtually any musical instrument.
